Explaining what makes Medtrica unique, Robert Penz, CEO, Medtrica Solutions says that they address things the way their clients want them to. He also adds that since its inception in 2004 the company has garnered a reputation for delivering products of high durability and superiority. “That is why we have a robust client retention rate. We have a minimal number of clients moving on to other competitors,” he adds. Sharing an exciting anecdote on that note, Penz recalls a situation where they have an endoscope product, which is usually hung in a closet. One of the issues was moisture build up, resulting in potential bacteria growth, which made it more difficult to clean and use. “So, we developed a long sleeve, inhale sleeve like application, called scope sleeve, which prevents bacteria growth by offering an obstruction filter from the environment,” says Penz.

The firm will be launching a disinfectant wipes and sprays products which would not be toxic. “We want to get into organic, non-toxic solutions for individuals in the workplace, in the medical workplace and the environment. It is essential to us, we are a very environmentally-conscious company, we can’t recycle much, but now we see the need for more organic and sustainable solutions,” concludes Penz.
